The Institute of Gems and Jewellery (IGJ) is one of India’s leading institutes dedicated to professional education in jewellery design, manufacturing, and gemology. For us, it was more than a college — it was the foundation of our friendship, our learning, and our dream.
We met at IGJ as students, brought together by our love for design and creativity. It was there we learned not just the art and science of jewellery, but also the value of vision, discipline, and detail. IGJ shaped us — it taught us to think like professionals and dream like artists.
After graduating, each of us gained hands-on experience in various jewellery companies and manufacturing industries across different regions. Those years gave us the practical knowledge we needed — but the dream of creating something of our own never faded.
That dream turned into reality when we came together again — not as students, but as co-founders — and gave life to YOA – Your Own Aura. Right from the start, IGJ didn’t just stay in our past. It stood beside us. The institute continued to support us with expert advice, mentorship, and practical guidance. Whenever we faced doubts or needed clarity, IGJ was always there to help — professionally and personally.
